Vivaldi was the winner of his stallion test receiving outstanding scores for
exterior conformation and movement. He has been shown through PSG and trained
through Grand Prix dressage. According to Kyra Kyrklund, Vivaldi has incredible
ease for the piaffe and passage. Both Linda Zang and Hans Barkevall, head
of conformation judging of stallions and movement expert on SWANA `99 tour,
highly recommend Vivaldi as a top sire. Barkevall says "Besides the high
BLUP index that Vivaldi has earned as a top sire, he also carries the valuable
Napoleon blood which is needed to improve rideability, shoulder angle, uphill
conformation, type and incredible movement. Because of these qualities, Vivaldi
will cross especially well with many/most mares in the USA."
Vivaldi was given the "A" rating due to the performance results
of his offspring, needing one more young horse test for elit status. Daughter
Calnia was national mare champion at Elmia `97, several daughters have also
placed there. Givaldi was Silver medalist at Young Riders CH. in Sweden. Currently
there is a Grand Prix gelding winning in Germany; offspring are also competing
in intermediate eventing and show jumping. In US, Vialli is winning nationally
through 4th level, and both Vialli and Vodka are USDF Horse of the Year winners.

Dam: Shalala
1991 Jockey Club Thoroughbred mare
Sire is Marfa (TB sire of 34 runners which have earned
$100,000 or more) who is out of Foolish Pleasure.
Dam is Aiglon (HOL), who raced in Holland. Dam side is all European winning
race horses. Shalala had a jumping career, that lasted 2 years, in Florida.
Vivian is one of the last offspring of the great stallion, Vivaldi, who has produced several winners in the Dressage. She is a very athletic filly, with a great reach in her movements. She has a lot of energy, but is still easy to handle. She should mature into the 16 hand range and will turn grey. She has very high potential for Eventing, but should also do well in Hunter/Jumpers.
SOLD
Congratulations, Rhonda Kight, of Lafayette, Alabama, for the purchase of this lovely mare!
