Dressage is a fundamental process to develop through standardized training methods, a horse’s natural athletic ability and willingness to perform, thereby maximizing its potential as a riding horse. This clinic will provide an overview of the basic dressage training methods used to help develop that communication between horse and rider and concentrate on improving gait.  The clinician will help provide the basics for individuals including basic rider position, communication aids and application of Pyramid Training.   The instructor will work with beginners as well as more advanced participants in a 100 x 200 outdoor dressage arena.  Eight ride times will be assigned on a first come basis.  Auditors are welcome and encouraged to attend.  

 

Horse/Rider $150.00 (2: 1-hour sessions) (limited to 1st 8horses)
Auditor $25.00/day for any spectator or trainer
Lunch $10.00/day for lunch & drinks
Stalls $15.00/night (2 available)

Directions: From the north- I-85 S to I-185 S( Columbus).  Get off at 3d exit which is exit number 34.  Turn left back over the expressway and go exactly 1 mile.  Slow down as you are coming up the hill and see the large utility lines- Pole Bridge will be on your right as you come down the hill- It’s a gravel road.  We’re the 2nd house on the right- ( #722)  3 board white fence starts the property line- lake in front- wrought iron gate and sign over driveway that says Stepp-N-Out Farm.  Follow the driveway straight to the back to the barn area for unloading.
